The Land Before Time: Journey to Sharptooth Mountain (also known as The Land Before Time XV: Journey to Sharptooth Mountain) is an upcoming official direct-to-video animated family adventure feature film and the fifteenth film in The Land Before Time series. The film will be directed by Davis Doi. Like all other Land Before Time movies, it is traditionally-animated.

Summary[]
The story begins in the Great Valley where Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Chomper and Ruby were playing together. Later, they go on their biggest adventure along with Ali, Shorty, Rhett, Guido, Tippy, Big Daddy, Lizzie, Skitter, Rocky, Dusty, Hyp, Mutt, Nod and Wild Arms to the legendary mountain in the Mysterious Beyond, sharptooth mountain to stop Red Claw and a weaker Sharptooth.
Plot[]
Littlefoot, a young Apatosaurus, is still living with his friends Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Chomper and Ruby in the Great Valley. His father, Bron and a cowardly Nothronychus named Wild Arms are now living in the Valley. Wild Arms is supposed to be looking after Chomper that day, but he is too scared of the baby Sharptooth. Later on, when the grown ups were having a meeting at the Rock Circle, Littlefoot and his friends wanted more adventures. Littlefoot decides to go on a legendary mountain in the Mysterious Beyond, Sharptooth Mountain to stop Red Claw and Sharptooth. Littlefoot gathers Ali, Shorty, Rhett, Guido, Tippy, Big Daddy, Lizzie, Skitter, Rocky, Dusty, Hyp, Mutt, Nod and Wild Arms.
The Gang of 21 make their way into the Mysterious Beyond and wander through a desert. However, the Gang are chased by a Fast-Biter. Suddenly a tail whips it, knocking it away from the Gang of 21 as it retreats. Littlefoot looks at the longneck and it's his uncle, Noah, with his wife, Mia (Littlefoot's aunt) and their son, Ethan (Littlefoot's cusion) and told Littlefoot they haven't meant in days before Littlefoot was hatched. The Gang of 21 continues their journey.
The Gang of 21 ends up in a path full of herbs. Spike then eats the herbs in their way, allowing the dinosaurs to pass through. Suddenly they are attacked by a red Tarbosaurus. Hyp gets cocky and tries to fight the brute, but it strikes him with its tail. Then the other members of the Gang each pull off several attacks on the Tarbosaurus. Littlefoot lures it away from Shorty, Spike, Guido, Hyp, Mutt, Nod and Cera while they push a rock onto its head. Ruby and Littlefoot starts throwing fruit at the beast, while Petrie pecks it in the eye. All these attacks are useless an the Tarbosaurus chases the Gang of 21. Suddenly, Noah appears and fights the brute. While the Tarbosaurus is occupied, the Gang of 21 jumps into a lake, where it can't follow them. Ducky swims to the bottom of the lake and chews through some vines, which makes logs float to the surface, creating a path. Noah, Mia, and Ethan join in on the journey.
That night, Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Chomper, Ruby, Ali, Shorty, Rhett, Guido, Tippy, Big Daddy, Lizzie, Skitter, Rocky, Dusty, Hyp, Mutt, Nod, Wild Arms, Noah, Mia, and Ethan camps on a rock wall. Noah shares a backstory about his past after Littlefoot was born. Littlefoot then sees Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Chomper, Ruby, Ali, Shorty, Rhett, Guido, Tippy, Big Daddy, Lizzie, Skitter, Rocky, Dusty, Hyp, Mutt, Nod, and Wild Arms were feeling sad missing the Great Valley and being with their families. Littlefoot cheers them up by telling they will always be here for them.
Back at the Great Valley the next morning, Bron, Grandpa Longneck, and the rest of the adults were wondering where the children had gone. They set out to the Mysterious Beyond to find them. Back at the Mysterious Beyond, Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Chomper, Ruby, Ali, Shorty, Rhett, Guido, Tippy, Big Daddy, Lizzie, Skitter, Rocky, Dusty, Hyp, Mutt, Nod, Wild Arms, and Ethan are climbing a mountain, then, falling rocks roll down the mountain and a pack of hungry Deinonychus attacks the Gang, but Noah holds them off. The Gang of 21 and Ethan still make it to the top to see Sharptooth Mountain, but the Gang of 21 still has to get down. They use a large leaf to sled down the mountain to rejoin Noah and Mia.
The Gang of 21, Noah, Mia, and Ethan go through Sharptooth Mountain and Red Claw and Sharptooth were there. As they were ready to get rid of Sharptooth once and for all, the Tarbosaurus appears, along with the remaining Deinonychus. The grown ups rush to the desert and fight the Sharpteeth. Topsy, Etta, Grandpa Longneck, Grandma Longneck, Ducky's Mother, and Petrie's Mother fight off Red Claw and the Deinonychus, while Bron whips both Sharptooth and the Tarbosaurus plummeting them off a cliff into the chasm below. Red Claw and the Deinonychus retreat.
After Sharptooth and the Tarbosaurus are both defeated, Bron, Topsy, Etta, Grandpa and Grandma Longneck, Ducky and Spike's Mother, Petrie's Mother, Noah, Mia, Ethan, Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Chomper, Ruby, Ali, Shorty, Rhett, Guido, Tippy, Big Daddy, Lizzie, Skitter, Rocky, Dusty, Hyp, Mutt, Nod, and Wild Arms head back to the Great Valley together.

- This film will feature new voice actors. Owen Vaccaro (he was in films like Daddy's Home and The House with a Clock in Its Walls) and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (he was in films like Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and he was the voice of Maui from Disney's Moana).
- This will be the fourth Land Before Time film in which it's title starts with "Journey". Coincidentally, the first was The Land Before Time IV: Journey Through the Mists, the second was The Land Before Time IX: Journey to Big Water, and the third was The Land Before Time XIV: Journey of the Brave.
- This will be the first Land Before Time movie to use the Wilhelm Scream sound effect.
