Summary[]
When an ancient power from the dawn of time awakens, he brings together the universes greatest heroes to determine who is the best by way of battle. When the Smash Bros. discover Master Hand is trying to collect them as trophies, they all band together and try the defeat him.

Plot Elements[]
- Continuing from the mid-/post-credits of the first eight films, the heroes listen to the video and push the "Start" button on the controller. Suddenly, they are teleported to the World of Trophies.
- The heroes meet the "Master" who welcomes them to the "Super Smash Bros." tournament.
- The competitors meet and get to know each other.
- The competitors fight each other until only eight remain: Mario, DK, Link, Samus, Yoshi, Kirby, Fox, and Red.
- One competitor suspects foul play, but the others aren't the least bit concerned. The said competitor discovers that the "Master", an ancient entity known as Master Hand, has been collecting the defeated competitors and adding them as his personal "Trophy Collection". That competitor attempts to free the competitors but get captured and added to the collection.
- The next day, the final six competitors face off until only one remains, becoming the "Greatest Smasher Ever"; however, the champion discovers the truth and faces off against Master Hand.
- The champion frees seven of the trapped competitors and they decide to unite as the "Super Smash Bros." to defeat Master Hand.
- Eventually, the Smashers defeat Master Hand and free the remaining competitors.
- Mid-Credits Scene: Deep in space, a woman is seen from a spaceship observing a planet being destroyed. Just then, a lieutenant informs her of Master Hand's defeat.
- Post-Credits Scene: The Super Smash Bros. are seen eating at a restaurant.
