Star-Lord (Peter Jason Quill) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character, created by Steve Englehart and Steve Gan, first appeared in Marvel Preview #4 (January 1976). The son of human Meredith Quill and Spartoi J'son, Peter Quill assumes the mantle of Star-Lord, an interplanetary policeman.

The character played prominent roles in the comic book storylines "Annihilation" (2006) and "Annihilation: Conquest" (2007), "War of Kings" (2008), and The Thanos Imperative (2009). He became the leader of the space-based superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy in the 2008 relaunch of the comic of the same name. He has been featured in a variety of associated Marvel merchandise, including animated television series, toys and trading cards.

Chris Pratt portrays the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). Wyatt Oleff portrays a young Peter Quill in the first two Guardians of the Galaxy films. Pratt will return to play the character in The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

  • The MCU incarnation of Peter Quill / Star-Lord appears in the entirety of Iago PUC's Avengers Animated Trilogy, voiced by Josh Keaton.
  • A version of Star-Lord appears in Ultimate Marvel: Earth-2. This version is a teenager named Nathan "Nate" Quill, and is Midtown High student and aspiring astronaut who ended up infused with the energies of an alien gemstone which grants him a symbiotic link with a special star-shaped emblem of alien technology which provides him an special space suit, granting him interstellar abilities (flight, elemental manipulation (Earth, Wind, Fire and Water) and sword and shield astral construct projection) and allows him to summon a highly advanced star-ship. He is also a friend of Peter Parker and keeper of his identity of Spider-Man, whom he views as role model. His suit comes from the Star emblem, which can be activated once Nate puts it in his chest.   • Star-Lord and his fellow Guardians of the Galaxy appear in the continuity of Marvel's Spider-Man: Webbed Champion.
  • The Nathan Quill version of Star-Lord is a main character in Marvel: All New, All Different Chronicles, voiced by Scott Menville.
  • Star-Lord is a playable character in Marvel/DC Heroes Unite!, voiced by Will Friedle. He and his fellow Guardians work alongside the featured heroes from Marvel (including the Avengers, the X-Men and New Avengers) and DC (the Justice League and the Teen Titans) as well as the Rookie hero/heroine to stop Thanoseid from destroying their universes.
  • Star-Lord is a playable character in Marvel Superhero Adventures: Intergalactic Grand Prix, voiced by A. J. Locascio. Appearing as one of the superheroes participating in the titular racing tournament hosted by the Grandmaster, Star-Lord owns two karts: the Millano VII, a sportscar resembling a Ferrari F8 Spider, with details and colors of his ship the Millano from the 2014 MCU film Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Blazing Ravager, a hovercar with attributes of the Eclector from the MCU, and hot rod flame designs next to the cockpit.
