Matthew Broderick

Matthew Broderick (born March 21, 1962) is an American actor, voice actor, singer, musician and comedian. His roles include the title character in Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) for which he earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, the adult voice of Simba in Disney's The Lion King trilogy (1994–2004), David Lightman in the Cold War thriller WarGames (1983), and Leo Bloom in the Broadway production of The Producers.

Broderick has won two Tony Awards, one for Best Featured Actor in a Play for Brighton Beach Memoirs (1983), and one for Best Actor in a Musical for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (1995).[1] He was also nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his role in The Producers (2001), but lost to his co-star Nathan Lane. As of 2016, Broderick is the youngest winner of the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play and in 2017, he was the narrator for Fox A Christmas Story Live!!
